The hotel was nice and the room was clean. It would have been nice to have breakfast, but there a lots of restaurants close by.

Visiting family.

Stayed 3 nights visiting family. Good location on the Metro line. Dinner in the grill was very good, drinks were excellent, service was good. Had breakfast in room on Sunday morning, which was also excellent. Room was comfortable, quiet. Bathroom had nice amenities (lighted makeup magnifying mirror, hairdryer). Overall good impression.

Hyatt Regency standards other than an error on my receipt at checkout. Building renovation was mildly inconvenient.

My visit

Coming to the hotel kind of started a downfall to my trip. The parking garage was complete madness. With the construction going on Nobody knew where to park and then finding the actual entrance to the hotel took an additional 10 mins. Then we get inside the hotel and there's an barrage of kids running freely throughout the entire hotel. The room I had was smaller than it had looked in the pics so it made it hard for me and my guest to move around. Getting out the parking garage was even crazier! They had signs that literally pointed every direction. I overall really didn't have a good time and expected better for the price of the rooms

While the parking garage is not operated or owned by the hotel, we are working with them to update signage as they conclude phases. Fortunately; they are nearing completion. Beautiful hotel..

My experience wit the Hyatt Regency was great. The staff was friendly and the room was great. The only reason I gave it a 4/5 is the garage is currently going through renovations and the hotel lobby was not directly accessible from the garage. You have to take the elevator up and then walk around the outside of the building to get to the lobby. I'm not sure if I just missed the indoor route, either way it is not clearly marked. Also not sure if this is something being worked on with the renovations. Either way it didn't ruin my stay,.. I had a great time on Valentine's Day 2017..

Perfect location

Pros: The room was lovely and very comfortable
Location: Great restaurants and shopping within a short walk
There are many wonderful places in walking distance of the hotel. Staff is friendly, helpful, and the food was delicious.

Stark depressing room in a concrete wasteland

The staff are nice but the room is bleak. The coffee machine was invisible, lights glaring, and the food in downstairs restaurant pretty awful. Depressing place.

Good central location but needs work on dealing wi

Pros: Nice lobby, good beds, great location.
Cons: They a professional to look at their handicapped rooms. I am sure their intentions are good but execution is lacking.
Location: Right on top of Bethesda Metro station so quick access to DC and everything it offers.
When I arrived, none of the parking staff would direct me to handicapped parking. When i inquired at the front desk, they said ask the parking people. I was put in a room with two beds, not a room with the single king bed I was assured would be waiting for me. The room was clean but smelled strongly of disinfectant. Their attempt at configuring a closet to meet the needs of handicapped folks was actually pretty funny. It resulted in a closet with no way to hang anything. The rod near the floor had less than 15” clearance between it and the fixed shelf below it, so I couldn’t hang anything. On the other hand, the handicapped bath was well done. In a room for the physically handicapped, it stands to reason that the desk chair will be adjustable and have wheels. The chair here was a side chair, no wheels and not height-adjustable. My requested replacement arrived later but the very nice and sincere gentleman who brought it had no clue how it worked. I figured it out so problem solved. I am a big fan of in-room coffee service and their Starbucks offering filled the bill. They also provide a small fridge. I was disappointed that the hotel had no shop for snacks and personal items. I was told there was a supermarket a couple of blocks away.

Good location

The tub was a little dirty and I was charged for water that I did not drink. Thankfully they reversed the charge when I called.
