The staff were really helpful when things didn't go to plan and I had reserved a room that wasn't pet-friendly. Despite me being stressed and not okay, they were able to sort things out. They were also great when my scatter brained self left my card/ID at the front desk. Unfortunately, though, my room and the hallways smelled heavily of cigarettes, despite smoking not being allowed. Climate control in the room was difficult and the air felt both very damp and nothing ever dried in it. Housekeeping did not come to my room while I was out during the day, but this may have been because I was only a 2 day stay and this was not a problem for me.

The mirror in the room was obviously smeared and unusable. And the floor was sticky from the moment I went in. They accept dogs, but don't disclose it's $10 per dog per night. I stay there often because of price and convenience. I also stay in Madison and Eau Claire who accept pets, but do NOT hit you with a unadvertised fee of $10 per dog per night. Those are both Motel 6's. I feel the $10 fee should be on the Expedia site, because it would make the cost more accurate. The staff I dealt with are very courteous and helpful when needed.

Decent night stay
We arrived around midnight. Found a spot to park not totally covered with snow (they just had 18"s). The room was clean, but some guy across the hall was moaning loudly all night, and into the next morning. I was wiped out and barely heard it (just drove 4 hours,) but my friend had a horrible sleep because of it.
