You'll have the entire cabin to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Lake Front 3 Bedroom cabin with FREE use of pontoon.

Lake front walk-out cabin, private driveway and entrance. The cabin is partially attached to our home by a locked stairway to our home upstairs. Fully private, no shared spaces. The main room has a full kitchen, with stove, refrigerator/freezer, microwave , dishwasher and ice maker. And the living room has a gas log burning stove with a sliding glass door to your private patio. Laundry room with stackable washer/dryer unit. Bathroom with vanity and new large shower. 3 bedrooms, 1 with king bed and sliding glass door access to patio and lake and 1 with queen bed and window facing patio and lake. The 3rd bedroom has a twin bed. The patio has a fire pit, charcoal grill, table & chairs and picnic table. About 8 big steps to the dock and lake. Free use of a canoe and row boat. We also have a pontoon available for fishing and swimming off of or tow everyone around the lake on one of our giant tubes. Also if you prefer bring your own boat to enjoy the lake or fish from the dock. Across the road is our horse barn and pasture. We have a horse that love petting and treats and Stella and Frankie a couple of fainting goats (that don’t faint). We have a large yard by the barn where we can set up volleyball, horseshoes or other games for you or just extra parking. We also have many beautiful trails near our property to walk. The county has many trails you can easily get to with your 4 wheeler. Rent canoes and go down the St Croix river from Danbury.

Beautiful location!
We came to the area for a wedding. We enjoyed the beautiful lake, pontoon, amazing fishing and overall great views/scenery! Sherry was super kind and a great host. Definitely reccomend!

Another amazing stay
Another amazing stay for our family. For the second year in a row stayed for a weekend with my Dad and two sons. The fishing, trails, farm animals, bonfire, and pontoon if you don’t bring your own boat, was everything we and the kids hoped for. The place is great and the host Sherry is incredible and there for anything you need. Fishing on the lake in May was awesome. So much fun, thanks again for sharing your place Sherry!

Weekend getaway dream
Sherry was a wonderful host. The home was private, cozy, and convenient. We felt right at home.Our dog loved being with her dog and the neighbor dog- it was a bonus that our pup got doggy play time. Sherry was super accommodating and got the boat out for us (even though the weather was not great leading up to it) so we could do fishing. They even offered us flexibility since it rained most of our time there. Thanks for the wonderful weekend stay!

Very nice. We needed a quiet getaway for a few days and got what we needed. Nice property and we were able to bring our dogs. Cute cabin, and although it's attached to their home, the owners did not make their presence known.

Life at the lake
We had a lovely month of peaceful lake life. Our MN kids visited twice, the MA kids once. Our granddaughter enjoyed feeding apples to the horses. We loved puttering about with the boat out on the lake. We discovered the dairy co-op, an artisanal butcher and a great vegetable stand! We enjoyed barbecuing brats, corn and steaks. Sherry was helpful answering our questions but gave us plenty of privacy.

Understated!
This was the easiest, most comfortable vacation we have ever taken. The property was great, the people were amazing & the little extras at the property that were not mentioned were a pleasant surprise. Plenty to do for my 10yr old nephew above the fishing experience. Far enough off the beaten path to be secluded yet close enough to about anything you need. Highly recommend!

Great Location
Nice cabin with everything you need for a getaway. We enjoyed fishing from the pontoon we rented from the owners and from the dock as well. The homeowners were very accommodating, offering any supplies we needed and introducing us to the farm animals across the street.

Excellent location
We had a great week at Chuck and Sherry's place! If you are one to read reviews, a lot of this has been written before by others. Their property is located on a dead end street and is very quiet. Upon arrival, their dog, Jax greeted us and it wasn't long before Jax and our dog became friends. It was so nice to have our dog off leash all week and not worry about car traffic. We found our place to be quiet and private as others have mentioned. Sherry was there if we needed anything but she allowed us to enjoy ourselves. The patio was amazing with plenty of seating and no bugs at all. The fishing was excellent and my husband caught many largemouth and northerns and even a smallmouth. The lake was quiet all week and it was great to paddle board and see the loons on the water. The A/C worked great, beds comfortable, washer and dryer a bonus. There is a coffee shop in Webster worth going to and a trip to Burnett Dairy is worth going to. We ate at Adventures Restaurant and thought the food and service was good.

Great Lake House
Property has everything you need for a good old fashioned lake vacation. This is our second time here. The views of the lake are incredible. Frequent loon sightings during the morning or at night. You can relax, enjoy a campfire and take in the nature at this property.

Cozy home, beautiful lake

Short and quick.. .. both the stay and enjoyment.
The hosts were very friendly but too busy. It's not even a separate cabin, it's a walkout below the residence. We left for home the next morning due to the pollen, knats, & no further activities. Far too much money to spend for a stay in an unenjoyable, uncomfortable, dirty woodwork & windows residence. The photo on Vrbo & a quick ride on their old pontoon was the best part of our stay.

Beautiful Location
We loved the location and friendliness of the owners. We were hoping to squeeze in a little fishing, but the boat and dock were already out for the season. We had a great time with 4 wheeling but had to wash everything we used in the kitchen due to excessive mouse droppings. Bathroom too, and shower ceiling was quite moldy. The basement property is a work in progress and has tremendous potential. Sunrise is beautiful, setting is relaxing, their animals are friendly, location is great for summer destination.

Just what the doctor ordered. Quiet and beautiful. Host was awesome!! Only recommendation is to go over the weekend. Not many restaurants open during the week. We did find some really good ones in the next town over, which is only about 10 min away. Will definately book again at the same place!!!

Austin Lake Gem
This was our families second year staying at the property. The hosts, Sherry and Chuck and family are all so wonderful. We enjoyed bringing our boat, fishing, swimming and tubing. The property has everything you would possibly need, it feels like home. We are already excited to book our visit next year. The horses and goats were fun to hang with and feed, we also had fun playing volleyball. We enjoyed ourselves very much!

Relaxing Peaceful Getaway!
Beautiful cabin on a private lake with very little boat traffic close to many nearby towns for additional fun! My husband and I and adult kids thoroughly enjoyed our time at this cabin! Sherry and Chuck could not have been more welcoming and accommodating! Their residence is on the upper level which may concern some, but be reassured we had complete privacy and absolutely no issues. The cabin was quiet and perfect for the 5 of us, and so well equipped- the owners seemed to think of everything we might possibly need! (There is even a food processor and Pampered Chef food chopper that worked great!) We had an amazing view of the lake and rented the pontoon at a very reasonable rate! The lake is not huge, but plenty big for our needs to cruise around and enjoy the serenity, watch the loons and fish. We caught good size northern, bass and crappie along with some smaller ones we threw back to keep growing :). Thanks again Sherry for the Shore Lunch batter you left for us! Another plus was going to visit the horses and goats across the road. The horses were always happy to see us coming with a couple of apples. Haha We had so much fun exploring the area, playing horseshoes, playing board games when it rained (the cabin has a ton to choose from) and just relaxing around the campfire at night making s’mores. We agree with a previous cabin journal visitor entry- this place is a little slice of heaven!
