A comfortable bed

Pros: The cafe
Cons: Easier to read numbers to indicate lift floors
Location: Was very close to railway and bus stations, and Bluebridge ferry.
The bed was great, but area very noisy. room very run down, holes in walls. When using shared bathroom, no way to secure own room and belongings. Toilet flush very stiff and difficult to operate. Bathroom door sticks. In fact, for me the bathroom was a disaster. I am elderly and not agile, so climbing into the shower was difficult. The bath was very stained. On the other hand the cafe was excellent, with cheerful, helpful staff.

I was attending a block course at The Learning Connexion in Taita and found the location excellent I was a few minutes walk from the bus stop, train station , and New World. There were a few fast food places also close and a bar and cafe in the backpackers so my basic needs were covered really conveniently after an exhausting day in classes.

Pros: The Kitchen
Cons: explain to all guests to use both sheets to make up the bed: bottom sheet and top sheet!
Location: Railway station, Blue bridge ferry, Te papa museum, Wellington art gallery, Circa theater, Ambassy cinema, Embassies, shopping in Lambdon Que etc.
Room is cosy and tidy, beds comfortable, feeling like I am part of a big family! Pricing very reasonable, would not stay anywhere else. Staff always very helpful.

Room was basic but comfortable. Single room shared bathrrom got me a TV, bed, wardrobe, and sink, and a bathroom next door. I recommend not using the restaurant in the hotel. Coffee is a not bland and bitter, you're better off going to the cafe or mc Donalds downstairs. Food is men. I'm vegetarian so I only had a very limited choice and I don't recommend the vegetarian burger. The pancakes were rubbery and only warm... Definitely not cooked fresh. Overall I do recommend this place. Its not had for what you pay.

Pros: Quiet, warm, and well-staffed.
Location: On the edge of the lively part of the CBD - very quiet area at night, but busy in daytime. Close to bus and train depots.
Just had one night as a plain backpacker stay, and it was just fine. Quiet, clean, all good.
