Awesome place, but….
This was our second visit in a little over a year because we loved it so much. Still do, but….our first visit was met with complimentary wine and maple syrup, but….not this time. Our first visit had tons of wildlife because deer feeders, and hanging bird feeders were in place, but….not this time. I am assuming because it was hunting season, the corn in the various feeders for the deer were empty, but some of the birds were pecking away at the citronella candle left on the table out back. 😕 So not much wildlife at all. Our first visit had all of the front porch furniture out and ready for use, but….not this time. It had all been taken apart and bundled up tighter than a drum; not a very welcoming feeling as it snowed and would have been nice to sit on the padded outdoor furniture on the porch to watch the snowfall, as we had a couple of inches while we were there. It is still, however, an awesome little cabin in a beautiful setting. 👍

PERFECT!
Beaver Dam Lodge is absolutely perfect. It was above and beyond my expectations! The scenery out of each window was full of nature. The inside was so nice and cozy and brought some smiles as to how it was decorated for the Fall and Halloween. I wanted to have memories of my trip and I will for sure! The best!

We loved, loved, loved, staying at the Beaver Dam Lodge! It was beautiful inside and out and we had everything we needed for a wonderful getaway. We spent everyday hiking in the state parks in the area, and the house was the perfect place to return to at the end of the day. It was quiet, clean and very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! I would highly recommend the Beaver Dam Lodge.

Awesome getaway
The property is in a great location for getting away. A stones throw away from Hills Creek state park. The house is in a great spot to see all forms of wildlife. All kinds of birds, family groups of deer, and other critters. The lodge itself has anything you need to relax and spend some time with the family.

Cozy cabin that was very neat and clean. Lots of wildlife viewing from all windows of the cabin. Beautiful sunset viewed from the living room window. Would recommend staying here .

Great relaxing environment
A no nonsense check in and reservation transaction. Followed up by a very relaxing couple of days. You can sit on the porch for hours and watch the birds, squirrels, and chipmunks collecting seeds. And the deer moving throughout the surrounding property. The house is extremely clean and nicely appointed.

Amesome house and wonderful location!
My husband and I spent 2 nights at this lovely house in the woods on a little vacation to visit state parks in the area and loved everything about it! Check in was easy and we had no problems with anything. House was clean, well maintained and decorated with little beaver statues and other outdoorsy decor. There were multiple wildlife feeding stations on the property that were frequented by squirrels and deer (looked for bear but sadly didn't see one). Owner was great to work with and answered all my questions quickly. Kitchen had everything we needed and bed was super comfy. We will definitely be back to this cabin/house in the woods in the near future! Thanks for a great stress free few days!

Nice Quiet Wooded Setting
The property is well maintained, cozy and surrounded by woods and wildlife. Everything inside is very comfortable, and well appointed. However, there was only one problem. I would suggest to potential guests that they be careful of the stairs to the loft. They are steep, narrow (not as wide as normal stairs) and slippery. I tripped up them, but my husband unfortunately, fell down the entire flight. We are by no means unhealthy individuals, and have no physical infirmities, but maybe the owners might consider stair treads for future use for a better grip. Luckily my husband only bruised his elbow, but it could have been worse. Thankfully all is ok. Other than that, a great place to stay!

A Gem - Don't miss this!
Beautiful location in the woods. Other homes nearby but still very private. View is lovely and the wildlife that surround the home is a bonus! Very well kept, clean home and property. Cozy and comfty from the thermostat controlled fireplace. The owners have taken special care with the decorations which make one feel they are truly in a country cabin but with all the modern amenities. My only suggestion would be to add brighter lights. The lighting made it more of a challenge for reading at night. One last thing - we had a blip with one area in the kitchen regarding electric. However, after trying some things ourselves I made a call to the manager who then called the owner. This was attended to immediately and communication was the best and very much appreciated. Don't miss this perfect get-away!!!

Top Notch
This property was top notch in every way. It was comfortably furnished and accented tastefully with seasonal decor. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking and service ware. We had regular visits from the local deer and various birds, who were enjoying the well-stocked feeders on the property. The bed was comfortable, and somewhat amazingly, there was really good Wi-Fi. Operationally, we didn't have much need to reach out to them, but when we did, they were responsive. Definitely a place we hope to return to.

This place was amazing
My husband and I arrived on Thanksgiving. Wendy was kind enough to allow us a early check-in "based on availability of course ". That was awesome. This by far was the nicest and cleanest place we've ever stayed at. Absolutely beautiful. When we arrived, it was so welcoming. The Christmas tree lights were on, the cabin was warm and cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. They went above and beyond decorating the cabin.
