I had a night booked, but then was evacuated due to the Aspen Acres wildfire. I attempted to cancel my stay, but there was not a way to do it online. I sent them a message, but as I booked via Expedia, they stated that I would have to reach out to them and have them reach out to the lodge. The Expedia folks were happy to help, but they did not receive an answer from the Rainbow Lodge phone number after several attempts over several days. Bottom line is, the communication is not good with this lodge and now due to the wildfire, I am out several thousands of dollars due to being evacuated and can't even get a measly $65 dollars back from them to help cover my costs of evacuation.

Clean, nice looking. Plenty of pillows! Would stay again.

This was our second time staying at Grandview. Great property, good cabins, staff is friendly. Can’t wait to go back and stay again!

This property should not be used until it has updates. The electrical system is very old, plugs won’t stay in, you have to unplug items to not trip a circuit and I felt unsafe. The heating wall gas heating unit did not function and I was very happy to see CO monitors in place. This unit looked like it was from the 40’s. The paint is chipped, there are large chunks of wood missing and an all of the faucets dripped water. This was not the unit I chose at booking but was given to us due to repairs on the original unit. The office, staff and restaurant were outstanding.
