“You can tell Jill really loves this place and it is a cozy little retreat. Be warned there is no internet or cable. There are some tv channels but many don't come in well. There is cell service. “We loved this house and will most likely stay there again next year. It was very clean and had great amenities such as snacks and drinks in the fridge. The smart toilet was not something I had experience with but I have to say it was quite nice! The history of the house was very interesting to read about and added to the home's charm. I was in the Art on the Square art show so it was a great location for us being within a short walk to the square. Highly recommend!”

“The property was cozy and charming! It was perfect for our family of three but would easily work for two couples as well. The owners went above and beyond to add thoughtful and helpful touches. “We arrived Friday night, the description was spot on, the house was pretty well stocked with everything you’d need. The place was clean and everything was nice. We just needed a place to stay for the weekend and it was perfect for a family of 4. Rebecca was very responsive to messages and her husband Derek was helpful with information about the property. We are planning on coming back in June and hopefully many more times when we are in the area. I even got to hear the turkey’s gobble early...

“We loved our stay here - this very old home has been very nicely updated, and the back yard is perfect! Esp traveling with our pups, we loved that it was completely fenced in. The bedrooms were perfect for the 6 adults, and we all enjoyed our stay. Thank you to Jane and Matt!!”

“Everything about this rental was perfect from the initial booking, to communication, to the wonderful little extra touches around the house. It was perfect for my family of 5 to enjoy our trip to IL together. I would absolutely return to this house if I am back in that area again.
