“Very nice. We were in the newer section in the back - the space worked for us. Overall the hotel is fine - we ate dinner there once. Sat on the porch which was a little cold - they have plastic curtains to close it off (to a degree) and radiant heaters. Seems like they were a bit light on staffing - saw only 2 waitstaff - so they had a hard time keeping up. We were there at the end of the season (mid April) so I need to cut them some slack. Russell is nice and peaceful, but quite small. ……

“While we were there, there was a power outage. There was no generator backup so everything electrical was out of action”

“This place is a paradise. We truly enjoyed our stay. We booked two nights so we could fully enjoy two complete days, although we ended up leaving in the late afternoon on the second day. We would have loved to stay even longer if we could. All the amenities are of very high quality. The heated pool and spa are amazing, and the barbecue was excellent. We had a wonderful barbecue, and everything was just perfect. We will definitely come back.”
