We're already going to go shopping. We should not be charged for parking as well. And yes they validate if you know to ask.

Disclaimer I didnt go in, I have only read the directory of businesses. But its on Front Street and on the main drag. I did the main drag of front street. Listen, please, you traveled ALL THE WAY TO MAUI. Whalers is a mall. Just a mall. Front street is full of amazing galleries and many other unique shops. Some are obvious tourist traps, but there are some special places mixed in. AND, the art galleries are def special. I'm not even into art, not at all, and these galleries kicked ass. They are serious places. Famous artists. Expensive pieces, but not all out of reach. They were amazing to view and the "sales people" were extremely receptive, polite, friendly, welcoming. They know most of us are not true customers, but they are very welcoming and make you feel quite comfortable "just looking". I loved these places and like I said, I'm not even into art. The pieces tend to focus on local points of interest in many instances, but not entirely. Strolling along front street for several blocks, rather than inside a mall, is the way to go. Don;t miss the Banyan Tree park. Don't miss the "courthouse" building right there at the park. Go inside there and be pleasantly surprised downstairs and up. Restrooms upstairs as well. Sit in the park. Street musicians will likely be on hand, maybe just 1 at any given time, but they were cool as sh**.
