"My dog Daisy and I stayed for a week in June and had an amazing time. Jim and Effie provide everything you need, and the pines provide the rest. Despite us visiting in the middle of Summer, the flies, ticks, and mosquitos were not a problem when applying bug spray and plenty is available for you to use, along with lots of citronella candles and other mitigations. "Great old school hotel. I loved the brick and furniture in each room. It’s so close to great bars and restaurants very walkable. Everyone was really nice the restaurant was priced extremely well for the high quality of food and service. I would definitely stay here again"
