"My room was dirty I had plastic cups and other trash on the floor in plain site as well as surface to end table tables were dirty and clearly not cleaned the staff was not polite during check in as well as checkout I will not be coming back to this location and would highly recommend that everyone to do the same"

"This place seems very new and is an attactive option if you want to stay in a more rural location in second-growth redwoods. We lived very close to this property many years ago and so this is exactly what we were looking for. We had no complaints and would not hesitate to book this place again. We noted two small areas for imporvement. There is no washer/dryer and the nearest facilities are in McKinleyville, so you cant pack light and expect to do laundry. Also, being new, the kitchen has the very basics, but is lacking spices, cooking oils, food storage (e.g. tupperware), foil, platics wrap ot anything similar. I suspect this will change with time. Overall, very quiet, peaceful with nice views, a fire pit and a small creek. One small hint is that Lindsey Creek at the bottom of the road has coho salmon that spawn in it, if you are staying during some of the first significant rains of the year in Nov or Dec, this is a very memorable experience if you get lucky. "

"This property is across the freeway from the busy shopping center and away from the noise and traffic. It is a clean property, the rooms are always clean and comfortable and have everything you need, from the bathtub and blow dryer to the refrigerator and coffee maker and microwave. Quality linens, newer appliances, spacious rooms, smells clean and fresh, ample closet space with several hangers. Large table or desk area with chairs for dining in room. Toni's 24 hour restaurant is right down the street, which is one of the only places open after 10pm. The staff is usually friendly and helpful and professional. Hot breakfast served from 6:30-9:30 am which i wish went til 10am, but theres cereal. Waffles, croissants, bagels, toast, coffee, juice, milk, fruit and a vending machine. Reasonably priced for the area and amenities, ample, well lit, free parking, handicapped accessible. My first choice on a budget. Third party booking is often cheaper than booking at the hotel-pro tip. "

"Just ok. Place inside and out needs some love which is fine but it wasnt clean. Hair and dust all over, moldy coffee maker, stains on sheets and lacking some basics like pillows cases for all pillows and top and bottom sheets. Bummer because the place could be cool but wouldn’t stay again. "

"Ultra comfy bed, but odd shower with low water pressure and not-quite hot water. Very noisy people upstairs. Weird virtual check-in, difficult to understand the very thick accent, but he was helpful enough."
