“Easy one night crash. Amenities poor”

“I was pleasantly surprised for our stay. We would have stayed another night if we didn't have a time issue. Everything was SUPER clean, it was old, but taken care of. The property manager (owner?) was so super nice and welcoming. There are even chairs to sit on in front of your room so you can enjoy the night time. If you are in Luray and need a place to stay I would definitely give The Cardinal Inn a thumbs up.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. While the rooms are not particularly fancy, they are clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. We found the on-site restaurant to be a great addition with reasonably priced food and very attentive, helpful staff. However, there are a few things future guests should keep in mind regarding late-night amenities. The restaurant closes quite early, and there are no vending machines or microwaves available for guest use. This meant that when we returned……

“We loved our adorable cabin. Everything was very clean and comfortable. It’s very small like a tiny home, but so cosy. Loved the large window to the woods. We enjoyed making dinner and then smores on the camp fire. I would have liked a bathroom mirror and sink, but we made it work washing up in the kitchen.”

“This property is nestled by the river, which is such a lovely spot. Donna is such a wonderful innkeeper; she made us feel right at home. The breakfast was both healthy and delicious, and it was made with love. I can’t say enough good things about this place. If you’re searching for a lovely BnB near Shenandoah National Park, this is like home without the chores. If I could give it 6 stars, I would!”

“The house was very cozy and clean , the hot tub was nice especially with the view of the stars. It was fun to see cows in the pasture behind the house in the mornings. The house was in a great location to go visit many places from caverns, museums and antiques. We had a great time.”
