I greatly enjoyed my stay at the Hampton Inn. It was centrally located for my planned activities and conveniently situated between both airports. The staff was friendly and my room was clean.
One improvement would be having a more consistent housekeeping schedule. Some days housekeeping arrived before 10 a.m., while other days my room wasn’t cleaned until well after 1 p.m. Having a general timeframe would make it easier to know when to leave the room and when it’s okay to return.
The main issue during my stay was the shower. When I arrived, the bathtub spout was not caulked and there appeared to be a problem with the diverter valve. Because of this, water continued to flow from the spout while the shower was on, which caused the tub to drain slowly and back up. Unfortunately, a replacement room of the same type was unavailable due to full bookings, so I endured the issue. That said, I do appreciate the staff making an effort to help and having maintenance caulk the spout.
On a positive note, the gym was almost always empty, which I enjoyed, and I liked that the pool was indoors. The breakfast was decent with a good variety. I particularly enjoyed the maple sausage and the biscuits and gravy. I also appreciated the different waffle flavors.
Overall, I would definitely stay here again. I just hope the remaining repairs are completed and that the shower is fully functioning next time.
