“The cabin itself was nice, clean, and in a great location. Unfortunately, our stay was significantly affected by a large amount of Asian beetles throughout the cabin. We lost sleep and even woke up to bugs crawling on us, which made it very difficult to relax or fully enjoy the space. I did reach out to the host during/after our stay, and while they were responsive and offered a credit, I still have not received it and it has now been two weeks. It’s truly a nice spot with a lot of potential,……

“We were fortunate to be the only ones staying so we didn't have any issues with the shared bathroom situation. It was pleasantly warm which was surprising because the house is so big. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast piece is definitely not really a thing anymore and it seems like the place is for sale but it's a lovely area and the grounds are gorgeous. “Rockfish River Cabin is every bit as visually appealing and comfortable as the photos and all of the reviews suggest. Its location and surroundings were also perfect for us. We (two couples and our pup) spent a wonderful three nights there and will be happy to return next year. Can’t beat the peaceful views and sounds of the river from the deck. We also enjoyed the walking path very much. Grilling on the deck and cooking in the well equipped open kitchen was a pleasure. Recommend Three-Notch’d……
