"This hotel has so much potential but it just falls short. The property feels outdated and needs a refresh. The paint and carpet in the hallways is very dirty and the showers and bedding in the rooms need a refresh. In addition to this, the water in the shower and lukewarm at best with very little water pressure. This property just fell short for us. "

"This place was such a wonderful find. I stayed on my way from Colorado to Florida and on my way back. The staff was wonderful. The rooms were beautiful. We stayed in the Steel Magnolia room on the way back. It was perfect. One of my favorite movies. I didn't realize it was filmed in Natchitoches. The location of the hotel is perfect. Right in town by shops and wonderful restaurants. Tressie at the front desk could not be friendlier. We loved her. I didn't get the name of the person who checked us in at night, she was so sweet too. I will absolutely be back to stay again. I highly recommend this charming place. "
