"My room was clean and the sheets on the bed were clean. That's the nicest things I can say about my stay. The hotel is old and some decorative, cheap looking renovations had been done (tiled floor laminate, paint, etc). The mirror over the sink was broken and part of the bottom edge was missing. The hotel advertises "breakfast" which consisted of packaged honey buns and muffins, green bananas that were so hard I could have used them as hammers, tiny apples, oatmeal that came in pre-packaged envelopes that were so small it would take 8 packages to make a bowlful....nothing was appealing so I didn't even bother. I checked out early so I went to the front desk to return the key. No one was there so I rang the buzzer. A very grumpy and unkind man appeared from a back room. I stated that I wanted to check out and he unkindly told me to just leave the key on the countertop."

"Bed mattress was well warn lumpy and hard window shades not working properly ac very load but not so loud tku couldnt hear the outside traffic. Shower pressure was low and no place to hang the shower wand"

"The first room we were assigned to was next to a long term resident who had cats living in their room. I saw a cat in their window and the litter outside — which is fine — except our room next door smelled so strongly of cat droppings and litter that it was nauseating. I asked for our room to be moved and I was accommodated, but the next room we were assigned to had a different, yet strong, odor, and was dilapidated. The room looked next to nothing like the photos, except for the orange wall. It was dirty, there were cigarette burns in the quilt, there were black and brown scrapes and scratches all over the walls and floors, splatters by the trash can, bugs in the corner of the ceiling, and the bathroom mirror was coming apart. We decided to cut our losses and check into a different hotel that same day. I am very, very confused as to why anyone would rate this hotel anything more than one star. I would like to add I am an extremely go-with-the-flow person and I never cause a ruckus. I knew it was a motel 6, I was not expecting luxury, but I was expecting what was in the photos, and this was not it. If you are thinking of staying here for the cheap price, I highly recommend splurging an extra couple dollars to stay at any other hotel. "
