"The entrance door is very difficult to get through if by oneself with pets or luggage. My husband fell there and broke his back. I didn’t even get a free stay or food when I went there alone because he had passed away two months after the fall. No one offered to help us but other guests at the time of the fall. The place is lovely otherwise…"

"Staff and convenience "

"The rooms are always clean and quiet. There were three of us staying I. This room and we were only provided one set of shampoo and conditioner. A small coffee pot is available to take to your room from the front desk upon request. You have to obtain cups, and condiments for your coffee from the lobby to take to your room. This is a little inconvenient. Breakfast is adequate. Eggs, sausage, cereals, waffles, white toast, muffins and apples. Orange and apple juice, coffee and water. Staff is great. Perfectly acceptable for an overnight stay."

"The hotel and rooms were sparkling clean. Check in/out was prompt. The in-house restaurant has a limited dinner menu, but what they offer, they do well. I had a chicken quesadilla and she had chicken wings - both were above expectations. The challenge on a Monday night was restaurant staffing. The woman behind the bar was heroically trying to take bar + tables food and drink orders, and go to the kitchen to serve the tables. We sat at the bar and waited 10 minutes. To her credit the woman at the front desk came over and took our order and stayed unless a guest arrived to check in. So to be clear - the staff were great. Management scheduling staff for the evening needed improvement. "

"For a lower rated hotel, this had everything I needed. Clean, nice bed, good parking, store and eateries within walking range. I was only there to sleep and head out early the next am. "
