A toaster, microwave, and kitchenware are provided but have to do your washing up in the bathroom sink and no teatowel provided. Comfortable bed and HUGE TV. “Kaye was communicative and lovely. Her home is a calming respite for busy travelers. The outdoor space is spacious and beautiful, with friendly horses nearby. The bed was a bit soft for us, but the room was very clean. My Way Guesthouse is a very good value.”

“We stayed for one night as a stopover on the way North and were very happy that we picked this Inn. The room was quite basic but perfectly adequate for our needs and in line with the price point. We had an evening meal in the bar area which was very good with generous portions and we were served by a lovely young lady who was very friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfast was nothing short of excellent with good quality ingredients, perfectly prepared.”

“Middleham is a beautiful place to stay and to enjoy walking and a bit of wild swimming. The place oozes character. Richard III boasts age and character, so don’t stay here if you want modern. No breakfast included which we hadn’t checked, but there is a lovely tearoom but 2minutes walk away, racing stables close by so plenty of thoroughbreds trotting through the centre. I found the place delightful.”
