“My Memorial Day stay at this property ended with a serious injury and an extremely disappointing response from management.During a heavy rain, I slipped and fell down the exterior staircase. The staircase consisted of seven wooden steps. The lower six steps had anti slip strips installed, while the top step where I lost my footing did not. The stairs were rain soaked and extremely slippery.The fall resulted in a concussion, a large hematoma, extensive bruising, back and hip injuries, severe arm……

“The property was beautiful and the wildlife was all around. I would recommend this property to any outdoors type of people. Very close to sounding lakes and bike trails.”

“This is definitely one of the best stays when visiting Helen,GA and surrounding areas. It was so clean and comfortable with beautiful, relaxing creek views. The property has all the amenities of home. It was just a short drive to all the places we wanted to go in Helen. Unfortunately, it was still way too hot out to use the fire pit in the first week of September. We still enjoyed our stay.”

“The cottage was the perfect size for our group of 4. The location is beautiful and was ideal for the sites we wanted to visit. Every morning there was wildlife right outside the windows, a fox the first morning, multiple deer the second and a wild turkey the third. The cottage is fully equipped, although we choose not to cook but to support local businesses, which were all very good. The only negative is that the cottage has a musty smell which spraying air freshener only masks for a short……

“We were very pleased with our stay in this very clean and well equipped cabin. The host was very helpful and easy to be contacted. My only complaint would be about the pet policy/charge. We saw in the listing that this listing was pet friendly but didn't know there was a charge until we arrived.”

The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, and you can't beat the view from the covered back deck, while listening to the little waterfall trickling down the mountain. The cabin is very clean, comfortable, and roomy, and offers all the comforts of home.This was our second stay, and we plan to return again in September. This is the perfect spot for nature lovers seeking a quiet, relaxing setting, and the dogs will love it too!”
