The room size is big, clean and cozy. My room gets the view of Matterhorn from the top window, together with a balcony facing the main street, which is so nice! We left our luggage pre check in so that we could explore Zermatt, and by the time we got back our room was ready (before the checkin time) and our luggage had already been delivered to our room. We loved the use of real keys instead of key cards, it sounds silly but it was a really fun touch to the whole experience. The room was super clean and very comfortable and our view of the Matterhorn was exceptional. The breakfast was wonderful and the staff were so kind! Our favorite part, however, was the sauna. We stayed during their fall shoulder season and had the space to ourselves for the entire time. They have four different saunas (herbal, Finnish, salt, and steam) and they were very well maintained and clean. We loved the option for a cold shock post sauna with the showers as well.
