Zolfo Springs is also home to Pioneer Park which celebrates the early days of Old Florida with a museum, vintage buildings and an old locomotive. The park offers recreation facilities and camping, along with a charming little wildlife refuge. Once a year, a county fair, "Pioneer Days," is held to celebrate local traditions and the heritage of Zolfo Springs, FL. In the wildlife refuge we got to see these two gators lurking in the water (from memory a small entrance fee/donation is required) #green

"We loved our stay at Kellie’s farm, the property is big and has a big pond or little lake at the back, the scenery looks like you’re somewhere in the wild side of Montana and feels like a grizzly bear can come out of the trees at any moment! Haha but it’s very safe, nothing to worry about. The farm has chickens, pigs, a calf, dogs, etc. if you love animals you will love this place for sure! We would definitely come back and we 100% recommend this place."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The home was very clean. The floors were so clean when wiping up some water drips, there was not one spec of dirt on the paper towel! That is my measure for being clean! Home owners were excellent to work with. Texting answers to my many questions. We stayed while we were in town for the 12 Hours of Sebring race. Easy 30 minute drive to the track. Beautiful view of the lake with lounge chairs on a private beach behind the house. I can't say enough about...

Perfect for the little ones to play in the shallow water at the edge of the lake in the backyard, or to take the boat out for fishing, tubing, or wakeboarding. The dock was very convenient, and the boat ramp was not far away. The host is very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The kitchen was surprisingly well-stocked with cookware and dishes for a large family. The outdoor covered grill area and games provided were also a nice plus."
