“This was our fifth time staying at this little roadside stop. If you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs because it is right on the road. But we always find it very comfortable. The staff is always amazing. And the whole area is loaded with little towns. Excellent antiquing.”

“Super cute and clean. Very nice little guest house in a beautiful location. Tanya and Bo put so much thought into little details and amenities to make our stay comfortable. Definitely recommend staying here. The lake was so pretty and calm.”

“We loved the house! It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and it was beautiful and serene! I would definitely stay here again.”

“House was clean and spacious also stalked with essentials such as toilet paper and paper towels. The neighborhood was quiet and the property itself was great. It took us a minute to find the room over the garage though.I was very happy I found this listing because it was the right price the right area and most importantly my grandson didn't end up on the couch.If available I would definitely stay again”

“The place was so peaceful and tranquil. The khakis were a perfect touch after a week long stay at Olympia National Park. Two nights was not long enough. Except long enough for grilling, swimming with seals and khaking! Excellent choice to just be and enjoy life. There are 53 steps down and then back up! Good thing we'd been hiking all week - we were in shape! Thank you, would highly recommend!”

“We didn't get to do a ton on the lake during our visit due to the Bear Gulch Fire. This was our mistake as we were unaware until we arrived. The location is absolutely beautiful and the lake is crystal clear. The house was immaculate and comfortable. A quick drive into Hoodsport for restaurants and picking up extra groceries. We can't wait to come back. ”

“Check-in was supposed to be at 5:00. Arrived and keyholder was open and the key was gone. Took forever to get a hold of the property manager. Was told there was a second keyholder on a rafter under the eaves. Found it and was able to get a key. Key did not work on the front door. Was told it was a key to the back door. There is no back door. Then was told that housekeeper had the key and had an emergency to get more towels ??? Housekeeper arrived at 6:15 pm but said she still needed...

“This house was the best for our family. Well stock, cozy, around perfect quick hikes and water. We really loved our stay. Having kayaks on the water was awesome. It’s such a beautiful area, even though it’s a big drive to the northern side where the most popular hikes are. ”
