“I wasn't happy about the shower having scolding water to find out that I didn't read the instructions to get cold water.”

“We stayed here to experience the Rail Explorers Elk River tour, which makes the hotel’s location convenient if one is coming from Ohio. The beds were comfortable! The hallway carpets and furniture were all banged up or stained. The guests seemed a little rowdy the night we stayed, including an incessant yapping dog. If you turn the AC blower on though it drowns out the other noise. Breakfast that was included was substantial and the area was quite clean, organized and the attendant was……

“We got the king with separate sitting area. Room was big but smelled musty. TV was satellite and reception only worked about 20 percent of the time. The rest of the time it was either froze or pixalated. Breakfast consusted of scrambled eggs, sausage links, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, and various cereal. It was decent but pancake maker was broke. They had work going on at the hotel and I think the workers were sleeping in their trucks in the parking lot at night bc every night there was a……

“Cigarette burns(holes) in my bedding. Dingy, deplorable, smelly ghetto hotel. The pool is closed, the ice machine is broken, the outside security door lock non functional. No fresh coffee in lobby in AM. Instead the staff literally took yesterdays coffee in the carafe, poured it into a container, then microwaved it for 5 minutes, the poured it back in the carafe. All while I watched. Disgusting. Who knows how old that coffee really is. DO NOT stay here. Strongly advise against it. Good……

“Our room was dirty along the baseboards and doors, the shower handle didn’t work and had to have someone fix it, the shower was dirty along the perimeter. We forgot a couple things in the room and they threw them away.”
