“Rooms need some TLC they are worn out. I didn't have anyone come to clean my room. First day I had put the sign do not disturb, the second day I did not. Not sure what happened there. Partial beach view was nice. Never had the breakfast but seemed like bagels and pancakes, cereal and fruit. Coffee/tea was nice to have. ”

“I booked the room for, as I thought, a quiet place to stay outside of the city of Charleston. Shem Creek happened to be the most sought after place in the area. Thankfully, we always found the last reserved hotel parking spot every evening. Plenty of good restaurants, walking opportunities and quick drive to beaches; 10/10 on location. The hotel itself was fine. The outside patio was clean but the inside and rooms only would get a 5/10 on cleanliness. No housekeeping so took care of towels and……

“The bar”

“Very disappointed in our room. Hair on the wall of the shower, blood stains on pillow cases, room smelled musty, shower stopped draining, soap bar in shower actually fell off! Never again. Save your money and sanity and stay somewhere else. ”
