"The Ivy Rose Cottage was very comfortable and creatively decorated. The kitchen is nicely supplied for cooking simple meals. The trains did not disturb us and were fun to watch, especially the Amtrak. Great pizza and local brewery in nearby Crozet plus an excellent Harris Teeter grocery. Highly recommend this location for anyone looking for an out-of-town stay. "

"10/10 amazing property to stay at! Ferne and family went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was hassle free having everything available and ready for us to use when we got there. They even offered to start a fire for us while we were out getting dinner. It was extremely windy but the thought was incredibly nice. The vibe was loving and warm and I cannot wait to book another stay at this cottage again!! "

"Beautifully decorated and super clean. They’ve thought of all the little touches. Location is perfect, around 7 miles outside of town but in the peaceful countryside. We sat on the porch watching wildlife in the back. There are vineyards and breweries in all directions. We visited Monticello and even mountain top orchards. Owners were great. We will be returning. "
