"I hadn't stayed at his property for almost 40 years, and I was pleasantly surprised at its current condition. Everything was in very good shape, at a price considerably below other hotels in the immediate area. The included breakfast was among the very best I've ever had in a hotel, and the staff was friendly and efficient. The only negative I can mention is the furniture in the room and in part of the common area at reception. The lounge chair/ottoman were absolutely the hardest, most uncomfortable I've ever seen anywhere. I honestly can't imagine a furniture manufacturer making such an uncomfortable product, and I'm astonished that a hotel would purchase it for guest rooms. In spite of that, I would definitely return to this hotel in the future."

I was there on business and was glad that there was a conference room to hold a meeting. Desk staff were very helpful. I would definitely stay here again."

"I pulled in late. I had a tasty meal at the Sub Station Mexican Grill, then decided to stop for the night. It was lovely to find a quieter stay just 2 miles off of the exit. Each room has a balcony looking off into the fields. Skies are dark. Coffee and cookies were excellent. I'll definitely stop here again. "
