Requested a non smoking room and they still gave one to us. An employee came to let us know later on that they made a mistake but since we had settled in we decided to just keep the room. Bed felt itchy all night so they may have bed bugs. Towels looked dirty, thankfully we brought our own. One good thing was they had security in the parking lot at night.

The inn was a good choice for us on our motorcycle trip. Parking was convenient and the area was safe enough. There were homeless people about (not just in this area though) but they didn't bother anything or approach anyone. The check-in clerk was very friendly and efficient. The room was fine, beds comfortable, water hot, sufficient space overall. It was just the ticket for an overnight stay. As a bonus, it was only a few blocks down from the old town and was on Route 66. As such, there was some road noise being so close to the Interstate and 66, but it was not bad. We'd stay there again.

I was very impressed with my stay here. The front desk staff went above and beyond and was so genuinely kind. The room was perfectly clean, the bath water was steaming hot, the ac was ice cold, and the spineless prickly pear cactuses all over the property were gorgeous.

Dawson welcomed us on Christmas and told us the closest restaurant that was open (Yasmine’s Mediterranean was great). Possibly less than half full so Dawson upgraded us. Whole place was clean, newly painted, parking lot newly striped, tub clean, water hot. Best bang for buck in ABQ

On rt 66 - cars drag race ALL NIGHT LONG. The hotel is very clean and staff nice. Location very scary (drugs and police activity)- not family safe.
