Upon arrival, very quiant looking...but once inside, the chemical smell of the toilet cleaner was over powering. The entire room had a strong odor. Plus there was no toilet room door, yes I'm aware it was built that way but that information would have been useful in deciding on which villa to choose. The keypad door had its quirkiness to locking it when leaving and when trying to get back into the room. We had to call for assistance and was told the door does have its issues with the bolt and keypad working together. Not enough information given on this Villa as a whole when advertising. More pictures would be helpful.

Villa 3 was nice and comfortable and was exactly as described. The entire facility was quiet and relaxing yet offered music, wood fired pizzas and of course wine in the evening. The pizzas were delicious and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

The property is nice, the room was just as pictured. The restaurant food ambiance and wine was on point delicious! The complaint I have was the bed. It was creaking and squeaky with every move. We couldn’t sleep without being woke up with every adjustment during the night. If they would replace the bed and mattress it would be a 4.5 star. The other half star would be no creamer or shampoo and conditioner for use. There was a bottle of something without a label it may have been shampoo idk. We had one half roll of tp on the holder and another half in the cabinet so we had to ask our neighbors who is a friend couple, for some toilet paper. No biggie on that. But the bed was the reason for a low overall score.

Something different for a couples get-away
The winery and villa were about 20 minutes from Denton in a semi-rural area. The villa was adequate and clean, however, the bed sagged in the middle and was not very comfortable and there was some noise from the neighboring villa. The wine-tasting room and open-air seating area under the stars with live music and oven-fired pizza was a nice change of pace and very enjoyable. Was a little disappointed that the wines were all from California, expected them to be local.

The property is unique in a good way. The architecture, to the grounds and the winery all in one. The room was roomy , clean and and laid out well. Two complaints the toilet area has no door on it and the bed mattress needs replacement immediately. It bowed in the middle big.

Loved the wine, charcuterie and woodroasted pizzas were amazing! Cute little place. The toilet room could use a door. The shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The bed was comfy. Great stay!!

Needed to know more details
Very pretty place and enjoyed the area. But it would’ve been nice to have known that there isn’t a door on the bathroom toilet. Yep. No door and zero toilet privacy. Really need to put a door on the toilet. Kind of standard most places to have a door. Maybe it’s just me, but I prefer a door.

Hidden gem in the Dallas area
Jay and Jeanette were very helpful. The villa was very cute, and the winery is lovely and most importantly the wine is very good. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a unique stay near Dallas.

We had a great time doing wine tasting and listening to the wonderful music. Great setting!! Feel like we found a hidden gem. Cant wait to return. We stayed in Villa 3 and were so impressed from start to finish.

Get away for wife's bday
We really enjoyed a weekend away for my wife's birthday. Jeannette was very accommodating and helpful to plan and during our stay. The property was a nice mix of private/remote and close to restaurants. It had rained quite a bit before our arrival so there was a lot of standing water but that couldn't be changed. If the grounds had better drainage and the back patio better kept, we would have given 5 stars for the cleanliness but it is a harsh critique. The room we stayed in was really a great size and made good use of the layout. The shower and bathroom were well appointed with all the supplies we needed. We enjoyed the games and supplies in the room and really enjoyed our restful stay. The tasting room and experience was wonderful. Jeannette and the crew were knowledgeable about the wines and were warm conversationalists. If you are looking for a rustic, small yet warm getaway, this is it.
