“My stay was ok. The staff was nice. The original room I reserved was having the carpet cleaned in the evening. Not sure why that wasn't finished before check-in times. The 2nd room had a broken/missing towel bar (didn't look further) so they moved me to another room. This one was fine. But the weed wacking and tractor mowing literally right outside my window at 8-830pm.was a bit much. Couldn't hear the TV at all. New TV provider needs.to send channel listings for the TV. None were available……

“We had a great stay! Very clean rooms with a comfortable bed and plenty of pillows as well as great staff! Excellent buffet breakfast choices with eggs, sausage gravy (my favorite :), fruits and cereals! We were in a "river view" room which provided a pleasant, up-close view of the river! We will stay again on our next trip to Danville! Thank you Holiday Inn & Express Danville!”

“The staff was so friendly, always asking what they could do to help us enjoy our stay. The room was clean and spacious, the firepit area was comfortable, and the gym had enough machines to provide a good workout. The hotel was perfectly for our needs”

“The rooms don't have coffee makers in them. Considering the age of the hotel, and rustic nature of the building and rooms, I believe the price is a bit too high. I believe the cost should be about half of what they actually are. I don't mind the rustic style of the rooms and hotel, because I'm a no frills kind of person anyway, I'm just saying that the quality doesn't match the price.”

“If you are in the Danville, VA area, I highly recommend the Bee hotel. Very old but completely updated & renovated hotel. Our suite was clean as could be, very spacious and beautiful. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Beds were very comfortable. Near many excellent restaurants. Great place to stay.”

“The rooms smell like dog pee there was brown stains all over the blankets. The pool was out of order. The coffee was pots were out of order in the elevators.. Their breakfast was almost nonexistent, milk, cereal, muffins, and orange juice that is it save your money and go to the Hilton.”
