Wonderful house in a fantastic village
Thanks to Giovanni and Gabriele for a great week in their beautiful house! The village is an absolutely quiet place with amazing views and a fantastic Ristorante. The house is really nice and has everything needed. We can only recommend this place. Try the new hiking path to the Croce Del Castello (1h max.) up on the hill from the village with an even better view and places to rest and picnic! Vico Pancellorum and this house is the perfect place to relax.

Fantastic house in a beautiful village
We had a a great time at this lovely house and were looked after so well by the owners. Thank you! We arrived late and were even welcomed with a home cooked lasagne, meats, cheese and wine. Great start. The village is lovely if you want a real feel of Italy and lots of peace and quiet. The local restaurant is fantastic too and all the staff very welcoming. Would highly recommend for a lovely time in rural Tuscany. Local Canyon trekking and paddle boarding a big hit also if you want a bit more action.

The house enjoyed spectacular views of the mountains
The house had everything we needed for a very enjoyable and relaxing holiday. There was a very generous welcome pack and the wine, meat and cheese was a great start to the break. There were very thoughtful touches throughout that added to the stay. We would definitely recommend this to anyone who want a relaxing holiday surrounded by nature with great food a short walk away

More than a house...a magical experience!
We had the most wonderful stay in Vico. If you are looking to immerse yourself in true Italian life, this is the village and house for you! We are a family of four with children aged 7 and 9. They absolutely loved the pool outside, and the jacuzzi was lots of fun in the evenings after a day sightseeing. The house and views are breathtaking. In fact, the photos cannot do the views justice. I will challenge you to find a better view when you are washing up in the mornings! We spent a lot of time lazing around on the patio, having barbecues under the grapevine and enjoying every corner of the house. My favourite spots were in the swing chair, on the sunny patio area overlooking the majestic landscape and in the hallway curled up on one of the armchairs. You will have everything you need in the house, and while there isn't WiFi, it's a great reminder that life doesn't stop just because the internet isn't available. In fact, it's quite the opposite. We explored Pisa, Lucca, Florence, Bologna and Bagni di Lucca. All are within an hour or so's drive away and are well worth visiting if you want to break up your time at the house with a spot of sightseeing. There is also a great outdoor swimming pool in Bagni di Lucca and if you are looking for the best river swim you will find it at Canyon Park just a few minutes down the road. Here you can swim in the most refreshing and clear lagoon or take a paddleboard down the river. It's free to swim, but if you want a paddleboard they are 20 euros each. Well worth it! The village itself is one of the most unique places we have ever visited. The people are so friendly and the artwork around the village is just wonderful to see. The kids had great fun trying to find the next piece of artwork or sculpture as we explored. By day the village is beautiful to walk around with its winding pathways and beautiful views all around. There is one restaurant in the village which we visited many times. Here you will find a warm welcome, wonderful food and great prices! A meal with starters, main course, dessert and wine came to 60 euros for all of us. You'll have some of the best pasta you have ever tasted. We were also able to sample some wonderful meats, including wild boar and rabbit hunted locally. It is advised to book each night as it does get busy at times. We also took part in the local activities including bingo and a Norwegian waffle party! Please do not hesitate to book your stay here. It was amazing!

Great property in an even better location.
The property is great - two spacious bedrooms and bathroom on the top floor; kitchen and living room on the ground/middle floor; living room and another kitchen/utility room in the bottom floor. The bottom floor gives access to the terraced garden and small pool. The village of Vico Pancellorum is beautiful - most does have car access, but we thought that this was an advantage. The restaurant/bar in the village was top notch - great food and service and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend.

What a wonderful place!
We can describe our stay in this house in Vico Pancellorum in 1 word: Fantastic! The house is situated on a hill in a beautiful medieval village. The place is very serene and peaceful (no traffic at all, except for some locals by foot), and makes you feel like you've travelled back in time. The house has 3 floors and from every room the view is amazing. The garden with swimming pool (and also these great views) is a real treat, and the jacuzzi in de basement is 'the cherry on top'. Communication with Simonetta was very fast en easy. The prosecco and snacks were very much appreciated! Also a great restaurant in this tiny village!
