Lots of areas to gather and visit or play games. There were a couple hiccups that were addressed very quickly. "What a beautiful & peaceful place to spend the 40th bday weekend for our youngest sister! There were 7 of us so every space was used from walking the 5 acre property of fields and forests with the dogs, hanging out on the back deck after dinner, running our zanny and active murder mystery in the large downstairs family room to hot tubbing at night. Rachel and Wesley were responsive hosts prior and during our stay. Plenty of towels, dishes, utensils, condiments and cookware for our large family...

"The house was absolutely beautiful and so comfortable for a cold weekend. We had plenty of room and the kitchen was so well stocked for the cooking we did. The beds were very comfortable. The view was gorgeous. There was snow on the ground and to look out and see the view was gorgeous. We did the western half Bourbon Trail and it was convenient to the distilleries we visited. I highly recommend this house and we plan to stay here again when we come back. Thanks for a great stay!"

"The cabin was so quaint and charming. Fully stocked with everything you need. The back deck overlooking the lake was so beautiful. We saw many birds and squirrels and a few people fishing. After a long day of distillery tours and sight seeing the back patio after sunset was the place to relax and sip a few adult beverages. The swing inside was my personal favorite - my spot for morning coffee. Would stay here again. Thanks!"

Bardstown was very convenient for distillery visits, restaurants and shops. Great breakfast place beneath the apartment. Short drive to our final destination in downtown Louisville for the Derby. Highly recommend this property for an enjoyable stay in Bardstown."

"This is beautiful property and Amelia is a great host. She has thought of everything and anything you might need during your stay. Water in the fridge, Keurig coffee, fruit, snack bars, etc.. I have already recommended this to my friends and if we ever go back to Bardstown we would definitely plan our trip around the availability of this property. Bardstown is great and their is great shopping, restaurants, a brew pub, and history. I highly recommend this property."
