“We were looking for a convenient place to stay in Bridlington and I'm so glad we found "Salt on the Harbour". From the outside, it doesn't look like a hotel and you might have second thoughts. But inside, the rooms are very comfortable, with lovely views over the harbour. The location is perfect, with easy access to the beach, town and harbour, plus free parking is a bonus. Breakfast was great and served quickly, which was appreciated. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Will definitely……

“Super clean and modern wonderful sea view”

“We booked this as it was close to a wedding venue in the centre of town. When we arrived we asked about where we could park for the weekend- response was a but grumpy and not very helpful as we were advised to park a distance away when my husband struggles with his mobility. Karaoke was in full swing when we arrived and unfortunately our room was directly above this and went on til 11 pm as it did the following night so if you want an early night you’ve got no chance if you have room 5. “Sadly, this was a bad experience. I booked via Expedia where the hotel was advertising a Michelin trained chef and a restaurant. I travelled solo 145 miles for a two night break purely because of this. Upon arrival, I was disappointed to learn the restaurant closed last year. I expressed this disappointment in very civil tones, explaining this was the only reason for my visit. I asked the owner Stacie if I could therefore cancel my second night and obtain a partial refund for it. Stacie agreed……

“Lovely location. Property beginning to look a bit shabby e.g. wallpaper, chair coverings etc but comfortable. Kitchen could be better equipped if you actually intend to cook e.g. no bowls for salad/fruit/mixing; a cheese grater would be useful. We had a minor glitch with the parking permit but this was rectified very quickly by the host. Overall we enjoyed it and would stay there again.”

“The location of this large family house is excellent for exploring the town of Bridlington. The seafront is at the other end of road with only one road to cross with the children. Tesco Express and Morrisons Daily both within easy reach on foot. Parking is fine for three cars, last car in will be first car out. The large sitting room and dining room both with a TV and sofa, allows the party to spread out. The kitchen has everything required for family catering, and dishwasher tablets, tea towels……
