“I love hotel Wayne for its historical character, its distance to everything honesdale, and having the restaurant & bar downstairs with Paulies food directly behind it. The 2 bedroom apartment is over the wine room which is nice since it’s a private (and only 1 ) stairway. While there’s limited hotel accommodations, this one will give you everything you need. I will always upgrade from the standard room (which I’ve stayed in - there’s a reason for upgrading !)”

“Lovely girls weekends. Staff was attentive, personable and very capable. Rooms/bed/bath were all well appointed and most comfortable. Common areas were also comfortable coffee/tea was always available. View of the lake was perfect. Only slight complaint was parking was a challenge over the weekend but there was a wedding on site and staff immediately moved a personal vehicle so we could park near our room. ”

“This was our second stay and for the price it is a good deal. We had dinner in tbe restaurant and the food was good, our waiter nick was awesome he made sure our. Dinner was enjoyable, would eat there again.”

“Our experience at Lake Wanoka Resort in the Poconos was absolutely amazing! The cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway for my husbands birthday. It felt like a true home away from home. The peaceful setting, surrounded by nature, made it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The resort grounds are amazing. The other campers were so friendly. There is also a restaurant on the resort and the staff are so nice. My husband and I……

“The deer just hang around. It’s so serene and peaceful here. I worked on a puzzle and listened to soft music in the background on this lovely back porch. Loved it!! ”
