“Rooms need updating and maintenance, walkways are an accident waiting to happen. Restaurant couldn't seem to get our steak rare. They did replace the first steak that was well done with a steak that was medium, which we accepted as the rest of our party had already finished their meal. However they plated the second steak over our original mashed potatoes so they were cold. To make up for it, the dessert was gratis. Don't ask for more bread as they only prepare one loaf per table. “The location is only 4 minutes drive to Big Bend which is a big plus for us. We stayed there 4 nights, and the host is responsive and keep the trash in our room cleaned every day. The check in and check out thrue texting is also convenient for us because we check in late and check out early thanks to the smart door lock. The layout is practical and in room appliances (microwave, fridge, hair blower) are also help us staying in there for easy breakfast and dinner. Overall, I recommend this……

“No potable water. Air conditioner couldn't keep up with the temperature of 102! Need a larger a/c. It reminded us of our primitive camp in Pennsylvania. The chair was hot and no 2 places for people to sit except the the bed and the uncomfortable outdoor furniture. Definitely not worth the price!”
