This charming, well thought out space was the most perfect place to stay while in town for a weekend! Heidi was such a sweet host and we will definitely come back and recommend Santa Clara Inn to our friends and family. Thank you.

I had booked this as a good midway point between house in Chandler, az and Boise, Idaho. I wanted a nice relaxing place to stay with a spa. Check in was quick and I have to say they were so kind to accommodate an early check in. However I go to the room with no clue how to operate any of the electronic devices, the shades were electric and the buttons on the wall were not responding the tv kept turning itself off. I upgraded to a balcony room (paid a lot more) and ended up overlooking a concrete pad with chairs set up for a conference ... not the 'coffee on the balcony' kind of experience I was hoping for. Although perhaps they did this because other than overlooking the golf course I would have been looking at construction or a parking lot -- none of which were worth upgrading to a balcony. At about 5pm I called down because I could not figure out how to operate anything and they said they would send a maintenance person. I waited 40 minutes and no one came up. When I called back they said "did a bellman show you how to operate the room?" and of course a bellman did not. It appears a bellman would have sufficed instead of a maintenance engineer. The spa was good (Sarah was wonderful). Not the best I have been too. Just a sauna and steam room with an outdoor pool. the relaxing room before going to treatment was not relaxing -- doors slamming, providers talking, they should really address this aspect. I am not sure I would stay again. It was a very noisy resort.
