“The staff was so kind and helpful! We loved the "old" feel of this historic hotel but it would not be ideal for those who prefer new and/or modern. The building is beautiful but does show its age in ways. The location is extremely convenient to Natural Bridge hiking and we enjoyed a lantern tour in the dark. The laundry facilities were out of order and we had to travel 20 minutes to Lexington to wash our clothes. We rented the suite and it was far bigger than we'd expected. It even included a……

“This is the type of motel that homeless people live in. Smelled very mildewy and was very run down but was visually clean. Okay to sleep in for 8 hours, wouldn't linger any longer.”
