“We had a non- smoking room that smelled like smoke. There was still ashes on the bed nightstand. I told the front desk to make sure we would not be charged a cleaning fee and they did not seem to care. Room looked nothing like it did in the pictures and is in need of updating and repairs. Carpet was old, stained and had holes in spots. Inside of kitchen cabinets had dead bugs and garbage and looks like it has not been cleaned in years. Bathroom exhaust fan did not work. Beds were……

“The owners were very responsive. The property was well kept and comfortable. Even with the owners living on site, there was no one bothering us. We didn’t do any outdoor activities on the property with all of the cabins being rather close together with no separation, but it was too hot to be outside anyway.”

“The host was great, the cabin was beautiful and gave the exact aesthetics we were looking for. It ended up raining a majority of our stay and we got to watch the rain come in on a comfortable porch with a beautiful view. It was a quick stay for us but we plan on visiting again! 10/10 experience”

“Ed was very knowledgeable and interesting. He gave us several great suggestions for places to visit and eat. He also offered us a tour of his property on his 4 wheeler, which was a lot of fun. I was able to feed the animals from the corn that grew on his property, too. Be sure to visit with him if you get the chance. The accommodations are part of Ed's house in the country. It's laid back and rural-not spotless but homey. :)”

“My husband and I found ourselves with a couple of childfree days around my birthday and decided we wanted a quiet place to unplug during the day, relax, and watch scary movies at night without fear of waking up little kids. We did a quick search on VRBO and landed on this cabin given its proximity to Minneapolis (not too far away, not too close) along what we assumed would be a nice, scenic drive. First, let’s talk about the location. Despite living 3.5 hours away for the last 20 years, I……
