Average run of the mill 60's style motel. We stayed here while visiting Salem during October which is the busiest month to visit. Hotel was priced right and only a 20 minute drive into downtown Salem. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable,
We loved our stay at North Shore. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. There was a little sitting place outside to sit and enjoy the weather or let the kids play and the staff were amazing. The rooms were clean and you can open the windows to let the breeze in. Again this place was amazing. If I ever make it back to Salem Mass I’ll definitely be staying here again.

Room was clean and really nice compared to my expectation. My only problem is the entrances aren’t in line with the sign and at night we’re difficult to find. Also the road coming down into the hotel and leaving are absolutely terrible. Besides that, it was a great stay, with updated room features and amenities. I would stay again if ever back in the area.
This hotel might look a little rough around the edges when you first see the property, but don't let that stop you. The check-in process was efficient and easy, but the front desk agent is what made the initial difference for us--she was the nicest! Super sweet and helpful with the local area, could not have asked for a nicer person to check us in. Then we got to our room which was spotless, clean, clean, clean! Beds were super comfy too. Will be back, we loved this property and our stay. Thank you!
I loved our room with a fireplace, so cozy. The restaurant was really good, and the staff were so sweet. I was hoping for cozy inn vibes and a fireplace in the common areas and unfortunately that’s not a thing at this inn. Other than that, it was lovely.
This was a nice, clean and comfortable hotel. The driveway is little treacherous to access but that is all on MA road chaos MA drivers (the worst). Only complaint was the very sour waffles at breakfast, we ended up going out anyway.
This is more of a motel than hotel, it’s a bit tired, they’ve done some updating. Rooms and breakfast area very clean. Room had plenty of space. The shower was big and water pressure was fantastic! Quiet considering the location. Breakfast was simple, bagels, bread for toast, cold cereals, muffins, croissants, a waffle maker, coffee, yogurt, juice.
Everything was perfect. Room was just as shown on the internet. Staff was helpful. I would recommend this property to anyone that was going to be in the area
The room was standard, nothing special. When we entered there was a big wet spot in the middle of the floor. There was hair in the drain. The sheets didnt really fit the bed. And there was a nasty spot on the linens under. The staff was so kind!! Super friendly and helpful. They definitely made the stay memorable.
This was our first time staying there. We found the staff very nice. Our room was clean and all was well inside. We especially liked the shampoo, ect mounted to the shower wall which was helpful. The price was very fair and we would stay there again if our need becomes neccesary.
It’s a great place to stat if you are just going to explore Salem. The bed was comfortable and room was clean and big. First morning the breakfast was great and the person there was great. However, second morning of breakfast we went to eat at 8:30 and there was nothing left only waffles. We asked if they were going to add more and said no because in half hour they were going to close the area. Many of us left with just coffee.
Beautiful property very clean and safe highly recommend

The staff at the front desk was nice, very quick and seamless process to check in and out, but the room itself was not as good.
Even with locked window, there were bugs that looked like roaches still coming into the room, had to kill a couple of them and there was also a piece of chocolate that was left behind the door.
Overall, not horrible for a two night stay, but it’s just the room and also the actual place of the hotel. The actual location of the hotel is basically on a highway and there was no big sign that says that the hotel is in here, you could miss your turn or the entrance if you aren’t paying attention.
