“This is a hotel that requires you to use an app on your phone to open that gate that allows you into the parking lot. This is the only place we had some difficulty, because I had run out of data on my eSIM, which I bought before we left for the trip from Canada. Luckily, my wife still had some data on her phone, so we got in. Once close to the hotel, I could use the free WiFi and the app to open the doors. The only staff we ever saw was the breakfast staff, who were very nice. The breakfast was……

“Wonderful stay in a country setting just outside Billund. Such a beautiful and relaxing property. A stark contrast from the busy places in Copenhagen. If you are heading to Legoland and do not want to stay at the resort, this is your place.”

“I really wanted to like this place! But unfortunately it had too many problems. Started with being greeted by dead bugs on our beds, then trying to sleep on a rock hard bed. But the most frustrating might have been having to pay for electricity, our included electricity ran out in the model of the night so we woke up freezing and to room temp food in the fridge. On the last night we came home to a leak in the hot water tank and had a wet bathroom, so we had to keep the water turned off……
