"I loved everything about this place. The people who take care of it or so accommodating and wholesome and welcoming. Even the Housekeeping staff was exceptionally friendly and warm. It was exceptionally clean with all the amenities and a perfect location. There was a beautiful trail adjacent and we all got acquainted at a campfire. I loved the human quality. This is a stark difference …opposite extreme of the negative experience I had at corporate conglomerate competitor who I can’t mention. I regretfully had to spend 2 “days in” that place 😩"

"Cozy cabin, with full amenities including a propane fire pit. You get a smores kit upon check in. It's along a creek they stock with trout. The cabin we stayed in, #8, had a full kitchen and two bunk beds for the kids. Easy check in and friendly staff. On site restaurant. Worthy of a stay if you are in area and in need of a rest."

Lee Vining Motel

Lee Vining Motel

10/10 Excellent
"We stayed here after our trip through Yosemite Park and on our way back to Las Vegas. The location was perfect for that. It's a tiny motel and yet had everything we needed. The room was clean and everything worked as it should. Check-in was as complicated as plucking an envelope with my last name off of a clipboard. Lee Vining is an interesting town, especially considering it's in the exact middle of nowhere. There were several places to eat and both Bodie Mike's and Nicely's were excellent. Go see Mono Lake. Pro tip: Book a higher numbered room to be away from the road. Route 395 is about 10 feet from Room 1, and there are quite a few trucks travelling at warp factor seven at night. I can sleep through that. My wife cannot."

"We enjoyed our stay here very much. A bit bare bones but quaint, comfortable, convenient & the first floor in any hotel I was not afraid to walk on with bare feet! A for cleanliness. Not luxurious but served our purpose"

"It's a historic building on the main highway so it was noisy at night (thin walls) but I was prepared for that. I got there late and left early so I didn't eat there but everyone was friendly and it's a cute place. And it's in the center of town so I was able to walk around and look at all the historic buildings."
