Bridgestone Arena

The Nashville Predators of the NHL call the arena home, but year round there are concerts and musicals to enjoy, steps from Music Row.

Bridgestone Arena may just be one of the most convenient urban stadiums in America, sited right near most of Nashville’s biggest attractions. That means it’s easy to slip in a hockey game on a whirlwind tour of the city, or hit the bars of Lower Broad after catching a sold-out stadium concert. Come to see some of the biggest acts in folk and country, like Mumford & Sons or Kasey Musgraves, or get a completely new perspective on the human body with the death-defying feats of Cirque du Soleil.

Follow the crowds as they wind their way from Riverfront station or downtown’s hotels towards the stadium, which stands right at the corner of Broadway and 5th Avenue in homage to the Ryman Auditorium, the Grand Ole Opry’s original home. Go straight in, or get there a bit early to partake in the many culinary specialties on offer from the area’s restaurants, from barbecue to upscale Italian.

Join the other fans as they head into the building, which can hold up to 20,000 audience members. Feel the electricity in the air as the game or performance begins, with a state-of-the-art sound system that provides a fully immersive experience. Try out some local brands at the concessions, or just appreciate the action before heading back out into the Nashville night.

Bridgestone Arena is located in downtown Nashville, right near Music Row. Get there from the Riverfront station in 7 minutes on foot. There are a variety of metered parking garages in the vicinity, which sometimes need to be reserved ahead. On event nights, park for free at Nissan Stadium and take the low-priced shuttle. The box office is open from Monday to Saturday during regular business hours, and on Sunday for special events. Check online for bag policies and other security measures.

Easy walk from the hotel. Great atmosphere for a hockey game.

This Hyatt is like a mom and pop place. Don’t expect anything fancy. It was very busy in this area but I like how it was convenient to the interstate.

Plan your u we ahead. The streets get blocked off for concerts and it’s super busy.

If heading to the Bridgestone Arena or the general area, go to spothero.com and reserve a parking place. We found one for $10 that was only a block and half from the Arena (which is just around the corner from Music Street). It saved us from any headaches in finding a parking place.

We paid for parking at the Baptist Parking lot through Ticketmaster with our show tickets, but there was no address listed for that parking lot. There were 2 Baptist parking lots, so it was all very confusing. The traffic downtown was horrendous. Allow 2 hours prior to start of show to leave your hotel to find parking and get inside the Bridgestone. We purchased the Patron Dinner inside Bridgestone which allowed us to NOT have to stand outside in the long lines in the heat. We entered at the side entrance, which was a quick bag check and we were in...highly recommend the Patron buffet prior to showtime.
