“I arrived before 6 P.M., to find no one in the office - you accessed a lockbox containing your unit key with a combo of a Ring button, and calling a phone number posted on the office door - a woman who checked-in just before was kind enough to walk over to explain that rigamarole. “Nice hotel, room was clean, bed was Ok, need more pillows. Bathroom was well lit and stocked with products, shower pressure was not good. Parking could be a challenge at times. The walking bridge to the other side of the bay was very close and a short walk to lots of shops and restaurants. there is no elevator just steps. It was not easy bringing our heavy suitcases up to the second floor. If I went back booth bay harbor I would probably stay again on the ground floor.”

“My husband and have stayed here several times. It is a really nice setting, and we have always enjoyed it. This time I spent time in Boothbay Harbor and out at Pemiquid Lighthouse. Handy to both places. I do wish they still had a complimentary breakfast like they used to.”

“Had a harbor side room on second floor with patio & great view; loved it. The bartender in their restaurant was fantastic—great service and personable. When we checked in we encountered a very terse front desk employee. Very impatient and not friendly. Bed mattresses were extremely hard & painful to sleep on. Made our own adjustments. Again front desk not helpful.”

“This is a beautiful property. Room was very clean. The view of the bay from the balcony was breathtaking. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was outstanding with made to order eggs and pumpkin pancakes or French toast. We will definitely return to this location.”

“Very quiet and peaceful. Lovely hosts with horses and sheep. Similar interests in spinning and knitting. Denise teaches spinning so if you want to try your hand, she has extra wheels. Only negative for us oldies- bedrooms upstairs and bathrooms down with having to navigate steep narrow steps.”
