“Absolutely lovely”

“We had an excellent stay. The property is located conveniently to Rockland/Rockport/Camden and even Waldoboro so we were able to go to The famous Moddys Diner! The unit was clean with plenty of linens. Washer and dryer, dishwasher- these amenities helped us to relax and enjoy our vacation. They had auxillary heaters but we didn't even need them it was so warm in there. The kitchen was stocked with enough implements which allowed us to easily make home cooked meals. “This place was nice and clean. The only thing was the service was spotty and WiFi was slow. Overall, great place and great location.”

“Would have loved to have more time to stay at the property and enjoy the lake - it was beautiful! The house itself was fine - my friend described it as a giant shed. But there needs to be pillow protectors on the pillows - it sucks when you're a non-smoker, haven't brought your own pillows from home, put your head down late at night to finally go to sleep and get the stench of cigarette smoke. I don't believe anyone had been smoking inside but I do believe smokers had rented the property before……

“Very clean with well equipped kitchen and a nice deck but very tight quarters for a group of 5, ac in living room but no fans in the tiny bedrooms, no ventilation in bathroom or kitchen, nowhere to dry wet swimsuits or beach towels. Layout assumes that people will be sharing beds. Read the fine print about pets.”

“Owls Head is close to Camden but like a quiet retreat location. The home is beautifully decorated and landscaped. Plenty of room for a family or multiple couples. Would definitely return.”
