“The Lake House was AMAZING! With its 5 great size bedrooms ( privacy for everyone) . 3 full baths, with plenty of hot water, for the many showers after a day in the lake The 1/2 bath on first floor was a nice bonus to have with such a large crowd! The large, fully stocked kitchen, with its large island and even larger peninsula (plus a view of the lake) made preparing, cooking and serving meals most enjoyable! We appreciated the cleanliness of all rooms especially the kitchen and bathrooms...

“This cottage is as charming as it looks in photos…warm, clean, cozy and rustic chic like something out of a home decor magazine. The host greeted us on arrival and graciously invited us to enjoy the entire pristine grounds during our stay, including the stunning pool/ patio at the main house adjacent to the cottage. She couldn’t have been sweeter and made herself available for anything we needed. We loved our stay at Whispering Estate and would definitely be back!”

“We throughly enjoyed our weekend at the cute and cozy yellow cottage. The house was very clean and well equipped, and conveniently located to the event location that brought us to the area. The host was a great at communicating with us. I would highly recommend this rental and would definitely stay there again if the opportunity brought us that way again. Thank you for letting us enjoy your place near the lake! ”

“Gilbert was an outstanding host! We loved the house- it was clean, cozy and everything was in excellent condition. Having all the drawers and lighting labeled was very helpful. We really appreciated all the drinks, snacks and extra items when we arrived. The backyard is huge and we loved sitting out on the deck at night. Our kids enjoyed the books and games in the basement. If we ever return to New England for another vacation, we will definitely stay here again! ”

“It was a most peaceful and relaxing home to vacation in! Great location since we had to be in several different parts of the Hartford area. Not too mention we had great food at all of the local restaurants. You cannot go wrong here!”
