"The house is located in a nice neighborhood, just two blocks from the water and walkable to downtown. Check in was easy. The apartment is filled with light and very clean. If you happen to be up at dawn the living room windows face east providing a wonderful sunrise view. Would definitely stay there again!"

Sharon and Denny have decorated as their own and it was such a cute place to be. "My husband and I enjoyed our week renting the second floor of The Captain’s House. The rental is spotless, the furniture is comfortable, and the kitchen is well stocked. There’s a wealth of books and brochures on things to do in the area. Hanging out on the second floor porch was heavenly. We had everything we needed for a pleasant stay."

"Steve & Kristen's place was perfect for hosting ourselves and another couple for a long weekend. Clever use of space makes it feel larger than the photos. The location is quick and easy to everything in downtown; we walked almost everywhere straight from the house, never needing more than 15 minutes to get to our destination. A hidden gem on a quiet side street, we will be returning next time we stay in Portland."

"On site parking with driving ease to and from Boothbay proper. Easy check in process, very clean room with secure entry and access. Spacious bathroom & large comfy king size bed. Adequate living room & kitchen spaces. Didn't bother with TV, but it's a decent size & set-up. Didn’t need to but, the laundry room would be easy to use for longer stays. Fairly quiet with both neighboring rooms occupied, minimal street noise. All in all: 5 stars, would recommend."

"Location could not have been better or easier to walk into downtown at night for dinner and drinks. Corner lot with private parking was great and plenty of seating and space for my wife, my daughter and me to be comfortable hanging out and working from here during the day. "The condo unit was exactly as described and we found the property manager to be immediately responsive to our questions. The entire unit was beautifully decorated and the beds/furniture was quite comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed and there were plenty of towels/linens. The location is within walking distance of central Boothbay Harbor but in a secluded neighborhood that is very quiet. We enjoyed the “shoulder season” a few weeks before the tourists began to arrive, but found enough...

"We very much enjoyed our stay at this location. The stairs were a bit scary, but with the light on, you'll be fine. :) Cozy spot for the three of us, well appointed and in a fantastic area. Very walkable, even down to the wharf. We are from a very non-walkable area, so it was amazing to see all the activity and places we could go just walking a bit. We enjoyed our first time in Maine, and can't wait to get back for a longer trip. Thanks to the hosts!"

"This was a great spot for a weekend away! The unit is well equipped with higher end finishes and furnishings which makes the u it well worth visiting. The roof deck was a lovely addition as well! We left on Sunday so was happy to be able to move the car close to the unit Saturday evening to make packing a breeze."
