We also enjoyed some sites in Washington D.C. check in and check out was very easy and the property was as described, clean, comfy with luxury touches. Kevin answered any questions I had and our time at “the Wooded Retreat” was enjoyable. We saw deer and a fox from the patio window! Would highly recommend!"

"Location in Alexandria is ideal for exploring DC area. 7 minute drive to Huntington Metro stop with parking. Some issue at check in from previous guests, but was host on top of providing solutions. Lower floor with 2 double beds provided excellent location for cousin's slumber parties. Quiet neighborhood with driveway for parking."

"The room was perfect size for 2 people. It was homey feeling and did not have to pay for parking. It was 20ish minutes from everything we wanted to do. The bed was still wet when we got there and reeked of bleach. It seeped through one of my shirts and destroyed it. We had to sleep on the couch the first night. The owner still had laundry down stairs and said he would come in later to get it after we checked in. We waited till he got it to do anything. The door to their house is only lockable...
