"Overall, great location and very clean. Not the best check in experience but that was definitely just the staff member we had. Every other staff member we met was awesome! Make sure to ask for soap in your room because we heard other guests complaining about that and when we got to our room we had the same problem."

"Good location and spacious room...but those were the only positives. The room amenities were just not that great. A/C was terrible...with the temperature at 67 feeling like 73 degrees. The room was so hot and stuffy, I could not sleep during the night. Also, the water faucet and the shower heads were very weak...and the water temperature (at the bathroom faucet) barely got past warm. The TV system was really bad, and the remote was not user-friendly. Because of this. we barely watched TV. While the bed was big, the mattress was too soft, and the comforter was too thin. Also, the maid service was seemingly weak. Our towels were just thrown haphazardly...not neatly as they should be. Overall, I expected more from a Hyatt hotel. Because of all the shortcomings, I can't say that we had a comfortable stay...but just barely tolerable."

"The room was extremely small, wife said we have had bigger rooms aboard cruise ships. It was SO small the bed was crammed in on three sides, my wife had to climb over me to get in and out of bed. The bathroom was glass walls/glass door that did not properly close - poor privacy. The bathroom did not have a fan so odors were not contained. There was absolutely no water pressure-the shower just dripped. The staff for the most part were not very friendly. At check in and during our stay with the exception of Meca, a bar tender, she was GREAT! The room was controlled by an iPad that kept pinging during the night, I had to unplug it to stop the pinging. The climate control would not allow the room any warmer than 72 degrees F, wife was COLD! Housekeeping was not on a daily basis, which was fine but the day our room was to be cleaned, my wife was in the bathroom so the maid just swapped out towels. Ten minutes later, I called the front desk to let them know we were leaving and housekeeping can clean the room. They NEVER returned that day. The garbage was overflowing and the toilet paper was almost depleted. I tried to request housekeeping the next morning via the iPad and it said I had to request it by 4:00 a.m. I spoke to Jamile (sp?) at the front desk and fortunately, he arraigned housekeeping to come. The positive is convenient location to L'Enfant Plaza Metro station and walking distance to the Capitol Mall. My wife said "NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN" and I agree!"
