“BRAND NEW EVERYTHING! We really enjoyed our stay. The complimentary parking garage was just one block away, which was very convenient. The continental breakfast was good, and the restaurant and bar were a nice bonus. The foyer was a wonderful place to sit and chat with friends. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. The bathroom was excellent, with a great shower, although the toilet was quite small. For a king room, a comfort-height toilet would have been a nice……

“When we arrived we couldn’t get down the road.It was blocked by about 25 cars.The campground rented the picnic area out and the people had nowhere to park so they just decided to park in the road and then everyone else’s camp spots.It took 50 minutes to get everyone to move.They had other campers blocked in also. Kids were running around the campground, throwing water, balloons, trash in the Place playing in the bathrooms running through our camping area squirting everybody with water guns..”

“Our stay at Rocky Gap Casino & Resort was not quite what we expected. We were looking forward to a relaxing getaway, but we did experience a few issues during our visit. The first room did not have the golf view we were expecting, and the second room had an issue with the bed being uncomfortable because it seemed to be caving in. “There are several long term renters. It’s a rough crowd. The lamp by the bed was busted. Water taps switched. Evidence of recent fumigation. It felt like someone had just moved out. I’m fine with less than standard accommodations but I felt like I was likely to be part of a crime scene. My wife warned me not to come home with bedbugs. So, as quickly as I unloaded the car, I packed it back up and hit the road. If you’re on the lam from the law, this might be a fine place to hide out. I just……

“The experience was terrible. The toiletries were of very poor quality, and the water was cut off before we checked out without prior notice, leaving us and our child without water to wash our faces and brush our teeth.”

“I think its a matter of you get what you pay for. I was put off by all the signs everywhere trying to rein in guest behavior. The pool and gym were not open and appeared to be in poor condition. I didnt like the remote front desk. The audio was terrible. The only working ice machine was on the 6th floor, which apparently wasnt even used as it wasnt air conditioned. “Arrived at midnight on long trip to visit nephew in ICU. Woke up to find no water for shower. Was told it should be in soon for 3 hours.
