“Lovely historic house. The shared spaces are a nice touch - feels like being a guest in a home. Innkeeper is very nice and there are generous amenities. ”

“The free parking (which was excellent) was confusing. In order to obtain a parking dongle, you had to check in but there was no where to park when you were trying to check in. Also, if you didn't return the parking dongle, you were charged $20 but you can't exit the parking garage without the dongle. Therefore, you have to exit the garage and find somewhere to park so you can return the dongle and finish checking out. They need to come up with a better method of enabling parking access.”

“The hotel was clean but a little out-dated, musty smell, only one elevator worked, the ice machine was on the 6th floor and not a great selection for breakfast.”

“Never been here before had to be in the area for a wedding. this hotel was great and I would say for the money why spend extra at some of the other places for less. breakfast is always good especially when traveling with kids Staff was great friendly and helpful if I am ever in this area again I will stay here hands down”

“The property is small, which is super nice and I was able to park alongside the cabin. There is a lake on the property that you can fish at. The Indian lake is a private property which was unfortunate and I didn’t know that was the whole reason I wanted to go to this cabin. You can access the marina, but it’s small. There is a fire pit. There were no sheets, no firewood in the picture. I thought there was gonna be sheets so we didn’t bring any. We had to buy some Expedia did not disclose that……

“Spacious and clean but poor soundproof.”

“There are several long term renters. It’s a rough crowd. The lamp by the bed was busted. Water taps switched. Evidence of recent fumigation. It felt like someone had just moved out. I’m fine with less than standard accommodations but I felt like I was likely to be part of a crime scene. My wife warned me not to come home with bedbugs. So, as quickly as I unloaded the car, I packed it back up and hit the road. If you’re on the lam from the law, this might be a fine place to hide out. I just……

“Someone had the ac set at 61* when we arrived. We had to turn the heat on and wrap up in blankets to get comfortable. It was a sensless waste of energy.”

“The experience was terrible. The toiletries were of very poor quality, and the water was cut off before we checked out without prior notice, leaving us and our child without water to wash our faces and brush our teeth.”

“We really liked the Historical Inn. It was clean and basic. Dinner was excellent . Breakfast time was busy and while excellent choices, lots of coffee, they were busy and the sausage and eggs were cold when served. We knew there would be steps to our room and we managed but it would have been so much better if someone had offered to help with our luggage. All that said we enjoyed our stay.”

“The room key reader wasn’t working and we were locked out of the room for about half an hour late at night. Otherwise it was a nice and clean property and stay.”

“The staff was nice, the breakfast was very good included scrambled eggs, waffles, cereal, juice, fruit, bread and coffee. We spend one night but I will definitely stay there again.”
