“Great location and lovely views out onto the water. Lovely pool and related facilities in the basement though having to pay for a swimming hat was annoying. Rooms felt a bit dated, and overall not as nice as in the pictures. Layout is odd, having to go in two lifts to reach a second floor room. The breakfast was a complete write-off: we were told to go out into the lobby with the 20 (?) other people and wait 30 mins for a table. As we had a long drive ahead, we left without eating breakfast. The……
“The host was unfriendly and hadn't turned heat on so was very cold. Kitchen and bathroom had no heat. Terrible shower and refrigerator was worthless owner told us a stick in the freezer. Even her son said this was a nuisance. I would stay at West Cork Hotel in Skiberean again never again at Rineen.”
“My wife and I spent 3 nights at The Chocolate Box. We had the entire cottage, which included 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen , living room and a washing machine. It was an extremely peaceful and relaxing stay. It was so quiet as well. The location is perfect for day trips to Cork and Cobh, as well as the Ring of Kerry. Lidl was only a 10 minute drive away ”
